FAQ
1. What does the installation service fee include?
The fee covers professional labor, electrician coordination, quote review, and quality verification. Additional costs for materials (breakers, wiring, conduits, subpanels, etc.), permits, and other site-specific work are quoted separately after your home assessment and require your approval before work begins. Installation services are provided by licensed, independent electricians partnered with Anker SOLIX.
2. Does my installation include a permit?
Permit fees and permit application services are not included in the standard installation package. For AHJ permits, utility company requirements, and any other regulatory or city code-related needs, please coordinate directly with your electrician, who will provide guidance on the process and associated charges.
3. Who will be installing my Anker SOLIX Power Dock or Anker SOLIX Inlet Box?
Your system will be installed by a licensed, insured electrician from our professional partner network. All electricians are pre-screened and trained on Anker SOLIX installation best practices. Anker SOLIX is not a licensed contractor and is not a party to the installation service contract, which is directly between you and the licensed electrician.
4. How long does the installation take?
Most installations are typically completed in about half a day, depending on your home's electrical configuration. Your electrician will provide a timeline estimate before the installation.
5. What if I need additional electrical work?
If your home requires additional work (main service upgrade, subpanel upgrade, etc.), your electrician will provide a detailed quote for approval before proceeding. All additional costs are transparent and reviewed for fairness.
6. Is the installation service available in my area?
Our installation service is currently available in most major metropolitan areas across the United States. However, if you choose to hire your own electrician, we will also provide technical support for the installation.
7. Can I get a refund on the installation service fee?
The installation service fee is fully refundable before work begins. Once the electrician starts installation, the fee is non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
