Installation Service
Upon receiving an E10 + Smart Inlet Box installation order, what is the correct workflow beforescheduling?
Contact the customer to verify the brand and model of the distribution panel. Based on the model, purchase theappropriate interlock kit in advance, and ensure all accessories are ready before finalizing the installation date
What does the installation service fee include?
The fee covers professional labor, electrician coordination, quote review, and quality verification. Additional costs formaterials (breakers, wiring, conduits subpanels, etc.), permits, and other site-specific work are quoted separately after yourome assessment and require your approval before work begins. Installation services are provided by licensed,independent electricians partnered with Anker SOLIX
Does my installation include a permit?
Permit fees and permit application services are not included in the standard installation package. For AHJ permits, utlitycompany requirements, and any other regulatory or city code-related needs, please coordinate directly with yourelectrician, who will provide guidance on the process and associated charges.
How long does the installation take?
Most installations are typically completed in about half a day, depending on your home's electrical configuration. Your
electrician will provide a timeline estimate before the installation.

How many Anker SOLIX E10 units can be connected to Anker SOLIX Power Dock?
Each Power Dock supports up to three E10 units. When three E10 units are connected, two battery circuit breakers must be
nstalled inside the ATS Box. For instructions on removing the jumper bar for live and neutral wires in the combiner box,
please refer to the installation guide or quick start guide.
How many installation methods does Anker SOLIX E10 support?
The system supports two installation options: wall mounting and floor mounting.
Wall-mounted installation:
Recommended for flood-prone areas. Ensure the wall's load - bearing columns can support the weight of Anker SOLIX E10. If
Insure, please consult a professional to determine the installation site before installing. Each Anker SOLIx E1o power
module weighs 60.6 lb (27.5 kg), and each Anker SOLIX B6000 battery module weighs 130 lb (59 kg).
During installation of Anker SOLIX E10 and Smart Inlet Box, what breaker rating should be used for the grid and off-grid ports?
Use a 40A breaker for the grid port and a 50A breaker for the off-grid port.
When installing Anker SOLIX E10 with Smart Inlet Box or Power Dock, what is the maximumdistance between the E10 AC port and the Smart Inlet Box or Power Dock AC port?
The maximum distance is 5.9 ft (1.8 m), which corresponds to the length of the connection cable between E10 and Smart
Inlet Box or Power Dock.

Does Anker SOLIX E10 support long-term outdoor use?
Yes. Anker SOLIX E10 features a NEMA 4 (IP66) protection rating, making it suitable for extended outdoor use.
How many photovoltaic (PV) inputs can be connected to Anker SOLIX E10?
E10 supports up to two PVinputs, each handling a maximum of 4,500W (30 450V). Do not connect PV arrays with voltages
exceeding 450v.
To ensure safe operation, we recommend the following panel specifications for series connections up to 4,500W maximum:
- 40oW Panels: Recommended Open-Circuit Voltage (VOC) <38V
- 460W Panels: Recommended Open-Circuit Voltage (VOC) <42V
How many battery modules can be connected to Anker SOLIX E10?
E10 supports up to 5 battery modules, each with a maximum capacity of 6,144kWh
What fuels does Anker SOLIX Smart Generator 5500 support?
Smart Generator 5500 supports unleaded gasoline, liquefied petroleurn gas (LPG), and natural gas.
What types of output are supported by Anker SOLIX Smart Generator 5500?
Anker SOLX Smart Generator 5500 supports 120VAC output with one NEMA TT-30R socket and one NEMA 5-20R socket. Italso supports DC output when used with Anker SOLIX E10.

What warranty does E10 come with?
The power module and battery module come with a 5-year standard warranty. Smart Inlet Box and Power Dock come with a
10-year standard warranty, while Smart Generator comes with a 3-year standard warranty.

What is the difference between Whole-Home Backup Power and Partial Home Backup Power forAnker SOLIX Power Dock?
Whole-Home Backup Power: The home's main circuit breaker is connected to Anker SOLIX Power Dock, with householdoads routed through the Power Dock's smart backup branches or a connected subpanel. This setup delivers backup powerfor the entire home and is ideal for users with high power requirements.Partial Home Backup Power: Only selected critical loads are connected to the Anker SOLIX Power Dock's smart backupbranches. During a power outa ge, the system supplies backup power exclusively to these designated circuits.
Which Anker SOLIX devices does Anker SOLIX Power Dock support?
Currently, Anker SOLIX Power Dock only supports connection to Anker SOLIX E10.
Which circuit breakers are compatible with Anker SOLIX Power Dock?
Anker SOLIX Power Dock is compatible with industry standard single-pole and double-pole circuit breakers. For specificinformation about main and branch circuit breakers, please refer to the circuit breaker compatibility section in the
installation guide.
Is Anker SOLIX Power Dock compatible with third-party PV inverters?
Third-party PVinverters must comply with the IEEE 1547-2018 grid standard. Otherwise, off-grid frequency regulation
cannot be performed.
During the preparation phase for installing Power Dock, what should be noted regarding the main breaker?
Confirm whether Power Dock will be used as service entrance equipment or as a subpanel.
f used as service entrance equipment, prepare the main breaker according to the existing main breaker rating or system
capacity. If used as a subpanel, a main breaker is not required.
What is Anker SOLIX E10's maximum output power?
The output power depends on the number of battery modules:
- 1 battery module: Maximum continuous power of 7.6kW
- 2 or more battery modules: Maximum power of 10kW, sustained for up to 90 minutes
Why can't the E10's charging power reach its maximum charging power at low temperatures?
To protect the battery and ensure long term lifespan, E10 limits maximum charging power at low and high temperatures.
Normal charging speed resumes when the battery temperature is between 59"F (15°C) and 131°F (55°C).
f the battery temperature is below 59°F (15°C), the system activates the heating film to warm up the battery, When the
battery temperature rises above 68'F (20°C), the heating film stops operating.
Can Anker SOLIX E10 and Smart Inlet Box be installed on a concrete platform outside the garage?
res. Both E10 and Smart Inlet Box have outdoor protection ratings, allowing them to be installed outdoors together.
Can Anker SOLIX Smart Generator 5500 be used with other Anker SOLIX products?
res. Smart Generator 5500 is compatible with certain Anker SOLIX models, with more compatibility coming soon.
- It supports DC coupling with Anker SOLIx E10, allowing both devices to operate as part of the same power system,
connected via a dedicated cable carrying power and communication signals. - It also supports AC coupling with certain Anker SOLIX power stations such as F3000, with more models planned for future
support. The generator connects via an AC power cable and communicates through Bluetooth. Please refer to the
corresponding power station manual for compatibility details. - Not compatible with Anker SOLIX X1.
Can Anker SOLIX Smart Generator 5500 be used indoors?
No. The generator must be operated outdoors on a flat, solid surface, away from doors, windows, and ventilation openings
Indoor use may lead to incomplete combustion and carbon monoxide exposure, which poses serious poisoning hazards.Smart Generator 5500 includes a carbon monoxide detection function that automatically shuts down when levels becomeunsafe; however, this is not a substitute for proper indoor carbon monoxide detectors.
Can Anker SOLIX Smart Generator 5500 be used outdoors for extended periods?
Yes. Smart Generator 5500 features a NEMA 3R protection rating, making it suitable for extended outdoor use.
Does Anker SOLIX Smart Generator 5500 require regular maintenance?
Yes. Routine maintenance is required for components such as engine oil and air fiter. The Anker app will notify you whenmaintenance is needed. Please refer to the user manual and video tutorial for detailed maintenance schedules and
